From Nights People

With more than 3km of fine sand, Gran Canaria provides one of the best climates all year round.

Blue Wave Hostel is ideal if you want to participate in water sports such as surfing and it's variations (body board, short board and long board), diving, scuba diving and kayaking, or other activities such as horseriding and golf. These are the best escapes from the stresses of daily life.

Our friendly staff will help you to book any of these activity at very reasonable prices.

The Paseo Marítimo is a pedestrianised zone which runs parallel to the beach. Here you will find entertainment, bars and restaurants and shops where you can find everything you need for the water sports activities.

The beach parties during the Las Palmas Carnival, Film Festival and on the night of San Juan, to name but a few, are famous for lasting into the small hours.

Blue Wave Hostel is in a quiet street, in the centre of Las Palmas. All the nightlife, restaurants, bars and discos are within easy reach from our central location. As the capital city of Gran Canaria, Las Palmas has many options for shopping, ranging from department stores to small boutiques. As the staging post for Columbus's expeditions to the Americas, unsurprising, Las Palmas is steeped in history. In the Vegueta district of the city, you'll find the Santa Ana Cathedral, the Columbus House Museum and the Canarian Musuem.
